- Must be an Indian Citizen

Educational Qualification:
- D.Ed. in Special Education from RCI Approved Institute + Valid RCI CRR no.
- OR D.El.Ed. with recognized certificate/diploma (RCI approved, eqv. to D.Ed. Special Ed.) + CRR no.
- Six-month training in cross disability area (inclusive ed.) required; if not completed, must attend when offered
- Medium: The teaching medium language (Bengali, English, etc.) must be studied as First/Second/Third language at Madhyamik (Secondary), Higher Secondary, or equivalent level.
Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 20 years (as on 01.01.2025)
- Maximum Age: 40 years (as on 01.01.2025)
- Age relaxation: As per SC/ST/OBC/PH/State Govt. norms
TET & Selection Process
- TET (Teacher Eligibility Test) is compulsory. Those already qualified in TET can apply directly.
- Selection will be based on a 100 marks scheme:
- TET Score: 80 marks
- Demonstration Lesson: 10 marks
- Interview: 10 marks
