Banglar Yuba Sathi Scheme 2026(yuva sathi form pdf):The Government of West Bengal has launched a landmark welfare initiative titled “Banglar Yuba Sathi Scheme 2026”. Announced by the Hon’ble Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and officially notified by the Department of Youth Services & Sports on February 13, 2026, this scheme aims to support the educated unemployed youth of the state.

Under this scheme, eligible candidates will receive a monthly financial assistance of ₹1,500 to reduce their economic burden while they search for employment. The scheme is effective from April 1, 2026.

Eligibility Criteria

To apply for the Banglar Yuba Sathi scheme 2026 , applicants must meet the following criteria as per Notification No. 102/YS:

  1. Residency: Must be a permanent resident of West Bengal.
  2. Age Limit: Must be between 21 to 40 years as of 01.04.2026.
  3. Education: Must have passed Madhyamik (10th Standard) or an equivalent examination.
  4. Employment Status: Must be currently unemployed.
  5. Exclusions:
    • Must not be covered under any other social security scheme.
    • Must not receive any other State Government allowance (Educational scholarships are exempted).

Financial Assistance & Duration

  • Monthly Stipend: Beneficiaries will receive ₹1,500/- per month.
  • Payment Mode: Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) to an Aadhaar-linked bank account.
  • Duration: The assistance is provided for a maximum of 5 years OR until the beneficiary gets employment/enrolls in another scheme, whichever is earlier.

How to Apply for Banglar Yuba Sathi

The application process is primarily offline through organized camps.

Step 1: Collect the Form

Download the form from the official website (wbsportsandyouth.gov.in) or collect it free of cost from the camps organized in your Assembly Constituency.

Step 2: Fill the Application

Fill in details regarding your personal information, educational qualifications (Roll, Number, Year of Passing), and bank details.

Step 3: Self-Declaration

Sign the self-declaration stating you are unemployed, a resident of WB, and not receiving other allowances.

Step 4: Submit at Camp

Visit your designated Assembly Constituency camp between Feb 15 and Feb 26, 2026, and submit the form with the required documents. The receiving officer will verify your documents.

Selection Process

  1. Scrutiny: Block Level Officers will scrutinize applications received at camps.
  2. Data Upload: Verified data will be uploaded via the NIC-designed portal.
  3. Sanctioning:
    • Kolkata Areas: Commissioner, Kolkata Municipal Corporation (KMC).
    • Other Districts: District Magistrates (DM).
  4. Fund Disbursement: Approved lists are sent to the Department of Youth Services & Sports, and funds are released directly to bank accounts.
