Nirmala Sitharaman briefs on ‘Garib Kalyan Rojgar Abhiyaan’. PM Modi will launch this Abhiyaan on 20th June, 2020 at 11 am through Video-Conference. Government of India has decided to launch a massive rural Scheme “Garib Kalyan Rojgar Abhiyan” to empower and provide livelihood opportunities to the returnee migrant workers and rural citizens.
“Garib kalyan rojgar abhiyan” with an outlay of Rs 50,000 Crores will cover 116 districts in 6 States.The villages across 116 districts in the 6 States will join this program through the CSC (Common Service Centers) and KVK (Krishi Vigyan Kendras), maintaining the norms of social distancing .
