MMSBY โ full form Mukhya Mantri Swasthya Bima Yojana โ is a new government health protection scheme launched by the Government of West Bengal (Department of Health & Family Welfare) on 25 July 2026. It is designed to provide comprehensive cashless health coverage to permanent residents of West Bengal who are enrolled under the Swasthya Sathi scheme but are not covered under AB PM-JAY (Ayushman Bharat).
The scheme was approved by the West Bengal Cabinet on 22 July 2026 (Cabinet No. 99) and officially notified on 25 July 2026 vide Memo No. HF/O/SS/ABPMJAY/MMSBY/447/217. It aims to eliminate financial hardship arising from illness and adverse health conditions.

- Any other category notified by the State Government from time to time
- SIR deleted names including those in absentee/dead/shifted/duplicate lists
โ ๏ธ Special Case: Pending Tribunal/SIR/CAA Applications
Individuals who have pending applications before any competent authority of CAA or SIR Adjudication Tribunal shall NOT be excluded, provided they satisfy all other eligibility criteria under MMSBY.
