WB health recruitment 2022- The Department of Health {WBHEALTH}has issued guidelines for the recruitment of more than 11,000 posts in the health service on contract basis with the aim of providing improved medical services at the primary level everywhere.
The state Health and Family Welfare Association issued the guidelines on Thursday. It has been informed that this appointment is being made in the 15th Finance Commission as per the allocation in the field of health.
The health department is hiring 11,521 contract, part-time, outsourced health workers. Epidemiologist will be appointed at block level. Medical officers will also be appointed for health centers in the city.

According to the notice,a total of 11,521 posts will be filled. It will include doctors, nurses, epidemiologists, clerks, lab technicians and cleaners. 1610 people will be recruited at block primary health center level, 6435 people at suburban health and wellness center and 237 people at suburban polyclinic.
A few days ago, the state cabinet meeting decided to appoint about more than11,000 posts in the health system on a contract basis. The guidelines were then issued on this day.

Salary- According to the rates fixed by the National Health Mission, all the posts will be paid.
- Remuneration of the HR will be fixed as per rate of National Health Mission (NUM) at mentioned against the posts No enhancement will be permitted during the entire tenure up-to 2026
- Engagement will be on contract, which will he initially (or a period of one year. Maximum period of engagement till 2026 unless and until the protect / scheme ts further extended.
- Under no circumstances. these HR will be absorbed in regular establishment of the Government.
Together this much recruits have not happened in the recent past. The medical community thinks that this initiative is to reach out to the common people by making the health system better. On top of that, Corona disease has forced the health system to become stronger. The government is also ready for this.
